A pitiful little girl who loves picking up trash everywhere x a powerful behind-the-scenes boss who loves pretending to be an NPC
After a heavy snowfall, Qu Guai gains an ability that gives her a pocket dimension. By a twist of fate, she ends up taking someone else's place in a high-risk survival livestream game.
Nobody believes in her or pays her any attention, because all she does is pick up trash.
Branches, flowers, pebbles, bottles, plastic bags...
That is, until the game updates: 500 branches can be exchanged for a lighter, and 100 empty cans for a bottle of soda...
After surviving her first trip out of the game, Qu Guai can't stop thinking about the resources inside it. She starts entering in other people's place again and again.
And so, an NPC who sells things appears in the game. Their codename is "Guai." They won't hurt anyone, but they do want to be paid.
The prices are twenty times what things cost in the real world, but compared to going out and picking up trash herself, it's a much easier way to save time and effort.
Qu Guai makes a fortune, but she still insists on entering the game to pick up trash. Then the Spring notices her and sends the sole survivor of the first game to catch her.
The survivor has broad shoulders and a narrow waist, with the air of a pampered young master. He sits on the sofa and stretches out his long legs, making her tiny twenty-square-meter room feel even smaller.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Xiang Qingsheng. Since you violated the rules, I'll take you outside and confiscate all your resources."
Watching all her resources get destroyed, Qu Guai's nose stings, and she bursts into tears.
Without resources, she'll be killed in the game. Outside the game, there's her gambling-addict dad, her promiscuous mom, a brother who has indecent designs on her, and herself: malnourished, sensitive, and paying off the family's debts.
She tugs pitifully at the man's coat hem. "Could you be my resource? Then you wouldn't have to take me outside."
She can always pick up trash again.
Xiang Qingsheng raises an eyebrow. It's his first time openly poaching his boss's own employee right in front of the boss. He bends down and blows gently on the pitiful girl's face, smiling as he says, "Sure."
As time goes by...
"Oh, you poor thing."
The phrase practically becomes Xiang Qingsheng's catchphrase.
When she's bullied, Qu Guai hears him and carefully hides behind him, waiting for him to avenge her. Then she treats his wounds afterward... not knowing that Xiang Qingsheng has a healing ability, too.
When no one's bullying her, Qu Guai puffs out her cheeks and writes "Big Meanie" on his face with a watercolor marker.

The Spring: "I've added a trash can with a high drop rate to the area where sister-in-law is. Everything in it is brand-new, distressed to look used, and disinfected."
