[SVT] TOP Starts in the Basement

[Blurb 1]

The young master of a chaebol family, Jiang Yunhe, has a huge fight with his grandfather and decides to run away from home to become an idol, bringing shame upon his family!

And so Pledis gets a trainee like this:

His teacher is thrilled by his looks, then is driven to despair by his spoiled rich-kid attitude.

His teammates diss him for not trying hard, only for him to make it into Class A at the monthly evaluation.

The company is about to push him as their star, but he flat-out refuses, saying too many parts would be exhausting and that he'd rather be a background member!

Teacher, teammates, and company: "You're doing this just to torment us, aren't you?!"

_

When Jiang Yunhe debuts as the fourteenth member of SVT, this background member goes viral thanks to one iconic photo.

Then the company faces the threat of bankruptcy. One phone call from Jiang Yunhe and his investment brings it back from the brink. The company's chairman becomes his family's secretary.

Leader, teammates, and fans: "...Should we start calling you Young Master Jiang?"

Jiang Yunhe gives a dignified nod. "Cheol-ah, pour your young master a glass of water."

Leader Choi Seungcheol, whose surname is pronounced without the final consonant: death glare

Jiang Yunhe: "Actually, I've always had a dream I've never told anyone. Let's become the world's number one boy band!"

[Blurb 2]

Jiang Yunhe chooses hardship for no good reason. Though he's a fourth-generation chaebol, he leaves behind his privileged life and runs away from home to become a trainee at a little-known company.

In a cramped basement practice room, Hengshui-style, a group of boys sweat through their clothes every day as they dream of debuting.

The pampered Jiang Yunhe seems completely out of place.

"I bet he won't last a month." "I'll give him a week."

No one expected him to stick it out and successfully debut as SEVENTEEN's fourteenth member.

The road ahead seems full of thorns, but those of us who love one another will reach the top together!

"We started in a basement, and we'll build a skyscraper."

No CP, friendship-focused, ensemble cast, feel-good wish fulfillment
