The Marquis's Husband Ran Away

Ning Chen is a concubine-born son, and has suffered cold stares all his life. Then one day, the noble young Marquis asked the emperor to let him marry Ning Chen. Ning Chen is in poor health and has always admired the young Marquis from the bottom of his heart. When he learns they are to be married, he feels shy and nervous. After their wedding, he thinks Xie You truly likes him and tries to get closer, only to be turned away time and time again. Later, he hears one of Xie You's friends say, "What do you mean, he asked to marry him? He just hated that sickly fellow's father and married him to humiliate him." "Taking a man as your wife? Aren't you afraid people will laugh at you?" So while Xie You is away on campaign, Ning Chen packs his things and leaves the capital. But he runs into a rebel army and nearly dies by the sword. Xie You rushes over with his sword and holds him tightly in his arms, his voice trembling. "Thank goodness... Thank goodness you're all right." Ning Chen slowly but firmly pushes him away. ★ Xie You doesn't like the Ning family's son. He's a man, yet he's as frail as a willow and sickly to boot. Xie You's heart suddenly trembles. Since they're already married, perhaps he should be a little kinder to him. Until one day, Ning Chen runs away. Holding Ning Chen, covered in blood, he begs him in a trembling voice not to leave. But Ning Chen, who has never thrown a tantrum, pushes him away and says firmly, "Write me a divorce letter.
