I Have a Dream Town [Worldbuilding]

The System brought Xin Xia to another world. There, she was a poor girl who had been driven out of her home by her uncle.

The good news: Her father left her a territory spanning 3,000 square kilometers.

The bad news: It’s currently nothing but wasteland, has fewer than a hundred residents, and is under attack by monsters.

The territory’s residents timidly offered her their grain. Xin Xia took one look and thought, Good grief, they’ve mixed bran in with the stones.

Haha, I’m going to starve to death!

To get herself a hot meal as soon as possible, Xin Xia set out to develop the territory.

Ever since a great war a thousand years ago, the continent of Ryan has been cursed.

Crop yields have fallen, food is monotonous, and all kinds of monsters keep invading.

Ordinary humans struggle to survive, suffering terribly while also having to find ways to deal with the monsters.

Then one day, [Leafy Greens], [Rice], and [Carrots] appeared on the market.

Soon, there were chickens, ducks, geese, and all kinds of delicacies they had never seen before.

Only then did they realize that the unvisited, desolate island had become a lovely and comfortable little town.

Legend said it was teeming with monsters and was the hardest place in the world to live.

But now they found that the town had abundant food and a rich variety of entertainment.

It was one thing to have food and a place to live, but it even had an amusement park! A cinema!

Even more unbelievable, the monsters had become town employees! And they were especially obedient to the mayor.

On top of that, taxes were incredibly low. It was hard to believe a place like this could exist.

Applications to move into Dream Town soon piled up faster than anyone could handle!

The question everyone asked changed from, “Did you qualify as a First-Class Citizen?”

to, “Did you get a residence permit for Dream Town?”

People across the continent of Ryan have been acting a little strange lately.

They used to scoff at that desolate wasteland, but now they’re all rushing there, as if they’ve been hit with a bewitching spell!

Even Prince Melfi couldn’t help going back again and again.

The king grabbed his youngest son. “Melfi, you’ve already been there five times this month. Why are you going again?”

“Father, you don’t know the whole story. I just heard that Dream Town’s Devil’s Roller Coaster has been upgraded into the Hellish Devil’s Roller Coaster. I won a limited-edition ticket, so I have to go check it out!”
