Becoming a God in a Map Simulation Game

Mu Xing was leading troops into battle when she unexpectedly died in combat. When she opened her eyes, she had arrived in the interstellar age.

This world revered martial prowess, courage, and intelligence. The most popular thing among its people was the full-immersion game War Simulation. The team that won the league championship would ascend to the Hero's Throne and be worshipped by hundreds of millions of players.

Mu Xing had no idea what a full-immersion game was, and the Hero's Throne didn't matter to her. But simulated combat? Ha, wasn't that made just for her?

As an unregistered resident, life was hard. Playing games could earn her prize money and help her fit into the new era, so why not play?

Mu Xing plunged straight into the maps, and thus began her journey of unlocking achievements:

[Congratulations, player Xingxing, on exploring Underage Mode 999+ times and earning the rare achievement title [Beacon of the Underage]]

[Congratulations, player Xingxing, on unlocking the hidden map, Quarantine Zone, and earning the server-exclusive achievement [Breaking New Ground]]

[Congratulations, player Marshal, on unlocking the Mochen Spear, Formation-Breaking Bow, and Blood-Sweating Steed, and killing a hundred enemies single-handedly to earn the first-ever siege achievement]

[Announcement: The server rankings have been updated. Congratulations to player Marshal for taking first place on the achievement leaderboard, the charge leaderboard, and the Ancient Battlefield map!]

Team A's ace sniper: What gun? What bow? What horse?

Team B's star medic: Single-handedly? Where's your medic?!

Team C's award-winning coach: That ID sounds familiar. Isn't she that Flywolf substitute? What was her name, Xing something?

Team D's general manager: Right, that's her. The traitor Flywolf blacklisted after she killed our captain during the tryouts.

Everyone: Tsk. So what if she's number one? She's still a traitor.

After gaining a little fame, Mu Xing joined a top team. Her prospects were bright, and her future looked promising.

But when she tried to collect her wages, she shot the lousy captain during the tryouts and seized command. They won the match and even broke a record, but she was expelled for violating team rules and became a notorious traitor in the Southern Star System.

Mu Xing braced herself for a public backlash. But when she opened her inbox, the messages were nothing like she'd imagined.

[Hello, hello! I'm the manager of Team XX. Would you consider coming to develop your career in the Northern Star System, superstar?]

[Hello, Marshal. Would you be interested in joining a women's team? We in Xijia Star need talent like you.]

[Mu Xing, don't push your luck! I've already paid you compensation and apologized. What will it take for you to come back to Flywolf?]

[Star, I've got a decent team lineup here. Want to come to Capital Star? Should I pick you up?]

Mu Xing: "..."

Sure enough, times had changed. Even traitors were in demand. So, um, what was the salary? Were there bonuses? How was performance pay calculated?

#She's a traitor to the Southern Star System, not to the Five Great Star Systems#

#Can someone who's halfway to godhood really be called a traitor?#
