The Esports Prodigy Starts Middle School

[This will be the next story once the advance collection reaches 200! If it doesn't, I'll start the derivative work first!]

The System wanted to bind itself to the tragic, lovesick second male lead of a romance esports novel, help him make a comeback and face-slap everyone, and lead him to the peak of life.

But it accidentally bound itself to the wrong person.

Bound target: Jiang Liu

The younger sister of the second male lead, Jiang Yang.

A background character among background characters.

Ten years old, in fourth grade.

System: O.o

System: Is this right?!

Faced with the sudden appearance of the System, Jiang Liu instinctively furrowed her brow. She was confused and puzzled, but her little face remained cool and calm.

She tentatively said, "Hello?" (polite)

System: Haha, we're doomed! (cheerful)

After listening to the System's rambling and hearing about the potentially horrific bad ending, Jiang Liu tried the game "Qiming Continent" for the first time to save her own idiot brother.

She entered the arena and started looking for people to battle.

She lost once.

She lost twice.

She won once.

She won twice.

She won three times…

System: ?

System: !!!

When her brother came home after evening study, he was astonished to see his little sister playing a game. Grinning, he came over to give her some "professional" pointers, then saw the familiar gear and character.

He let out a piercing shriek. "Jiang Liu, you've been secretly playing on my account!"

Jiang Liu didn't even blush. "I was just borrowing it."

Her brother was heartbroken. He snatched the mouse away. "I worked so hard for that win streak, and you, "

He stopped mid-sentence, staring in stunned silence:

A dazzling golden victory icon appeared before his eyes.

The match history clearly showed a new five-win streak.

Wait, this is Grandmaster rank, not beginner rank, right?!

My sister's cheating!

In the second year after "Qiming Continent" launched, a player named [Liuzhizhizhi] appeared out of nowhere.

First, she broke a pro player's record of one hundred consecutive arena wins. Then she led an amateur team to beat a streamer's all-star team in the online qualifiers. Finally, she had the nerve to put her adorable elementary-school-aged little sister out front to take the heat while hiding behind the scenes herself!

The online criticism kept coming.

"The offline competition is coming up. Let's see how long this person can keep up the act!"

"Using your little sister as a mascot is shameless. Just wait until everyone sees the truth!"

"Don't bother waiting. This person won't dare show up. They'll definitely come up with an excuse to withdraw!"

On the day of the offline competition, the person who showed up at the venue and registered as [Liuzhizhizhi] was the same adorable little girl with the cool expression.

The little girl moved.

The little girl used a skill.

The little girl wiped out the other team.

The little girl was already unstoppable.

Everyone: That's not right.

*

Jiang Yang: I heard you've got some dirt on you?

Jiang Liu: Uh... does buying a grilled starch sausage outside the school gate count? (guilty) (quietly)

A genuinely elementary-school-aged heroine who's composed, calm, reliable, and serious, but still an adorable little kid

About this story:

A pampered-by-everyone story, with a wonderful heroine. The heroine is extraordinarily talented and has a huge golden finger. She'll win the championship. There's lots of sibling love, and the brother-sister relationship is great.

A kind esports community. It has nothing to do with reality and is not based on real people.

In short, everyone loves this cool little girl.

[Note: The CP is Qiao Zhi, a gentle neighbor boy three years older than the heroine, who's in middle school. He's a background character with a chef's role. The heroine's romance begins only when she's in high school, and it's not a major focus (but it does exist). They date as adults.]

[About the character designs: Jiang Liu is a lop-eared rabbit, Jiang Yang is a tiger parrot, and Qiao Zhi is a shovel (?).]

A few reminders:

1. This is a world where gaming is for everyone, with no age limit for competing. Minors need parental consent to compete. Tournaments take place during school breaks, and the open tournament has no limits on the number of teams that can sign up.

2. There is no discrimination against esports players and the like. It's a peaceful world. I don't know enough about games, so the tournament scenes aren't very technical.

3. The heroine is an ordinary girl from a county town. She has a happy, stable family. Gaming is a hobby and won't interfere with her studies. A cozy, everyday, happy power fantasy.
