I Heard I Died and Vanished from the Path

Everyone in the cultivation world knows that the three disciples under True Lord Mingjing, master of the Twelfth Peak of Fuyao Mountain, are all exceptionally gifted and brilliant.

The third disciple, Guan Yao, cultivates the saber arts. Her saber, Cleansing Fiends, is unstoppable. Unfortunately, during an excursion, she met with an accident and fell into a rift in the Demon Realm. Even the soul lamp kept by her sect went out.

Six years later, after finally tearing open the rift and returning to the mortal world, Guan Yao had not even made it up the mountain before hearing from passersby that her likeness remained vivid in the sect's Hall of Mourning Spirits.

Guan Yao: ...?

When she first escaped from the rift, Guan Yao had teamed up with a disciple of the Sword Sect whom she had rescued by the roadside. Before they parted ways, they agreed to keep in touch by letter, but unexpectedly reunited at the Gathering of a Hundred Sects.

Guan Yao looked at the person leading the Sword Sect's delegation and narrowed her eyes.

"An ordinary Sword Sect disciple with mediocre talent, nothing worth mentioning?"

Yan Lingxiao, the Sword Sect master's personal disciple, who formed his core at fifteen and had now reached the threshold of the Nascent Soul stage: "…"

Oh, no.

When Guan Yao first returned to the sect, her master cast a divination about her fate.

Even without asking, Guan Yao could guess the result from the worried, hesitant look on her master's face.

So she smiled with ease. "It's fine. I don't believe in fate."

True Lord Mingjing fell silent for a moment. "What if fate... really is set that way?"

Guan Yao gazed at the sea of clouds below the mountain. After a long pause, she spoke softly.

"Then I'll cut down the Heavenly Dao."

Strong female lead, 1v1, two powerful leads (the male lead is strong, but the female lead is stronger), happy ending

A dashing, fearless saber cultivator who charges forward without hesitation & a seemingly aloof but actually pure-hearted sword cultivator

A few notes:

1. Because of the setting, the female lead's cultivation level is slightly lower than the male lead's at first, but she's always stronger in combat. She's guaranteed to win.

2. The story contains no allusions to real life.

3. The female lead will definitely be more deeply developed than the male lead and have many more standout scenes, but that doesn't mean the male lead won't have his moments.

4. Pure mutual love, seriously, very pure.

Theme: Believe in your own heart, no matter what your circumstances are.
