Kaitelina of 37 Qingshui Street is a witch who doesn't quite fit in. While the other witches are busy picking up all kinds of baby creatures to raise for fun, she heads to the human world and opens a little shop that takes in all sorts of secondhand goods. The unimaginative witch names it the Witch's General Store.
When the job posting goes up, Xiao Wang, fresh out of college, is drawn inside by the huge European suit of armor in the window. In a daze, he signs an employment contract. But as an ordinary human, Xiao Wang gradually realizes this shop isn't quite what he imagined.
"Sure, I'm not human, but I never lied to you." Kaitelina points righteously at the bright sign by the entrance. "It's called the Witch's General Store. What's the problem?"
Xiao Wang covers his face. "Fine, you're right about everything."
