Federation General Theodore is 32 this year and unmarried. On Blue Star, where the average age is over 200, he's still a fresh young flower.
He retired early, spending his days raising children and tending flowers.
But after an accident, all the children he'd taken in disappeared.
Not only were the children gone, he also fell into a coma after resisting a black hole.
When he woke again,
humanity's world had become connected to the insect race's. Because of his team members, he was forced to go to the insect world as an ambassador for a "friendly exchange."
After a convivial banquet, he boarded a starship to return home, only to run into a meteor shower. As he dodged the meteors, a falling star struck the side of his ship. Theodore made an emergency landing on the nearest planet, where an "omega" in heat crashed into his arms.
Theodore calmly injected himself with a suppressant.
"Do you need a suppressant, or do you need to call the omega emergency hotline?"
"I don't have an omega suppressant on me right now. If you call, the alpha who comes to help will probably be me anyway. So I suggest we go straight to a preliminary marking. What do you think?"
