Lately, Shi Nianbai has kept dreaming about a man. In the dreams, they seem like a loving couple. Even in terrifying nightmares, the man appears by his side in one identity after another.
Every time Shi Nianbai wakes up, the man's face in the dream is obscured as if by a layer of mosaic.
In the end, all Shi Nianbai remembers is the man asking him, "Darling, would you be happy if I appeared in your world?"
Like a playboy, Shi Nianbai comes up with sweet talk without a second thought. "Baby, you are my whole world. If I could, I'd never want to be apart from you."
Though Shi Nianbai is fascinated by this strange feeling, he doesn't take it seriously.
Until one day, a handsome young man with delicate features and a white coat stops his car.
Tang Wei: "Honey, I've come to find you."
Shi Nianbai: "If you're crazy, go to the Second Hospital. Turn right up ahead. I won't see you out."
Tang Wei: "But I just escaped from there."
Later, Shi Nianbai becomes addicted to him, wishing he could devour the bewitching ghost whole and keep him tied to his side.
*
Tang Wei falls for Shi Nianbai at first sight, the moment he sees him after transferring schools. The young master, who has never been rejected, straightforwardly confesses his feelings to Shi Nianbai.
Bad news: Shi Nianbai is straight. He rejects Tang Wei outright and punches him.
Good news: Shi Nianbai is so poor that his underwear has several holes in it. Tang Wei only has to spend tens of thousands to turn him gay.
They keep their relationship ambiguous until they graduate from university. The night before Tang Wei is about to ask for an official place in Shi Nianbai's life, he dies in a car accident!
What makes him so furious he could bang on his coffin is that Shi Nianbai loses his memory the moment he hears the news!
"You scoundrel!"
Tang Wei stays by Shi Nianbai's side, but accidentally discovers the secret behind Chi Yan's nightmares...
[Extra Scene]
In the school nightmare, Shi Nianbai is a miserable student who has a small exam every three days and a big one every five, has to study twelve hours a day, and will get his head blown off for the slightest rule violation.
Shi Nianbai isn't fazed at all, because he's hooked up with a school doctor NPC. The NPC is so enthusiastic, though, that Shi Nianbai soon ends up in bed with him.
One day, during the midnight dormitory inspection...
The irritable grade director hears the bed creaking in the dorm and flies into a rage, threatening to rip Shi Nianbai's head off and kick it around like a ball.
Fortunately, Tang Wei is there.
"Xiaobai... is sick. I'm helping him with his... treatment."
His voice comes in broken bursts, but it saves Shi Nianbai from trouble.
After the danger has passed, Shi Nianbai leans over from under the covers and kisses Tang Wei. "I'm the one helping Doctor Tang with his treatment."
