The year Zhu Yuhui's father and older sister disappeared was the year he truly grew up.
To find his family, he gave up photography and became an apprentice in cultural relics, joining an archaeological team to search for news of them.
The first time he met Liang Xiao was at an overseas auction, where a foreigner was bullying him. Liang Xiao came to his aid.
The second time they met, Liang Xiao was financing the archaeological team.
Zhu Yuhui always felt Liang Xiao had ulterior motives. Few capitalists had good intentions, after all, so he stayed on guard around him at all times. Zhu Yuhui had a special passion for cultural relics.
Though each had their own reasons for setting out, their goals took them along the same road, and together they embarked on a quest to find his family and recover stolen relics.

When Liang Xiao first met Zhu Yuhui, he thought he was an innocent, harmless little lamb. If Liang Xiao hadn't rescued him, he might never have made it back to China.
When they met again, Liang Xiao discovered that Zhu Yuhui could play the pig to eat the tiger. His knowledge of cultural relics was astonishing. He was an unpolished gem, overlooked until now, so Liang Xiao brought him into his fold and took him along on archaeological expeditions.
The only problem was that the guy didn't seem willing to trust him. Liang Xiao often looked in the mirror and wondered if he seemed too fierce. No, he didn't. So he tried approaching Zhu Yuhui gently, only to find him moving even farther away.
Once, when the archaeological team got separated, Liang Xiao suddenly realized that the thing he feared most was losing him...

The road ahead was fraught with danger: tomb raiders, trafficking rings, adventures in ancient tombs, fog-shrouded valleys, ruins of ancient dynasties, and an expedition to Mount Buzhou... Together, they discovered that they weren't rivals at all, but made for each other!
So they grew more valiant with every battle, their teamwork flawless.
Along the way, Zhu Yuhui finally found a few clues about his father's and sister's disappearance, only to accidentally uncover an ancient secret buried for over a thousand years...
