The Ruthless Female Protagonist Kills Me to Prove Her Dao

Heartless, sickly junior sister & obsessive, demon-corrupted senior sister

Wen Zhao had her cultivation destroyed and was grievously injured. Her former junior sister, Chu Yao, rescued her.

Chu Yao risked her life to gather medicine for Wen Zhao, took her from place to place to evade their pursuers, and cared for her at every turn.

Wen Zhao fell for her, but she carried a heavy burden of vengeance. Her only chance of revenge was to cultivate the Heartless Path, so she desperately suppressed her feelings.

But Chu Yao said to her, "I hear that to master the Heartless Path, you have to kill your wife to prove your Dao."

"Senior Sister, I'll help you cultivate the Heartless Path."

"Love me, then kill me."

Wen Zhao couldn't believe it. "You're insane!"

But Chu Yao had already leaned in to kiss her. "Senior Sister, I'm already ill, and I don't have long to live. If I can help you, I'll do it willingly."

Wen Zhao didn't know whether it was the hatred in her heart or Chu Yao's lips, so soft against hers, but she held Chu Yao tightly.

Later, Wen Zhao watched helplessly as Chu Yao ran herself onto Wen Zhao's sword. Blood splashed across Wen Zhao's face.

Chu Yao stopped breathing.

Wen Zhao mastered the Heartless Path and ascended to immortality in a single step.

The next moment, the immortal mark on her forehead turned blood-red, and Wen Zhao fell into demonic corruption.

Her revenge was complete, but the woman she loved would never return.

Holding Chu Yao's corpse, Wen Zhao laughed in despair. "If only I'd known, I should have fallen to the demonic path from the very beginning."

Chu Yao transmigrated into a book, becoming the heroine's sickly junior sister.

After helping the heroine master the Heartless Path, she retired from the story and lived a carefree life of wealth and leisure.

But she'd only enjoyed it for a few days when the System threw her back into the world of the book.

System: Host has failed the mission. The heroine has gone mad and wants to destroy the world. Host must resolve this as soon as possible.

Chu Yao: Huh?

Before she could figure out what was going on, someone pulled her into a tight embrace. A fragile, hoarse voice whispered beside her ear, "A Yao, is this a dream?"

Chu Yao was about to go mad too. She didn't like crazy people.

Theme: Love should be given with sincerity.
