[Seeking favorites for my upcoming novel, The Eighties and the Get-Rich System]!
Shen Jiaxing had always had everything go her way. Pretty and accomplished, she was the "other people's child" everyone talked about, until an accident sent her back in time to a clattering green train in the 1970s, where she became an educated youth about to be sent to the countryside.
She looked down at her wrists, so thin they seemed ready to snap, felt her soft, delicate skin, and remembered the disastrous time she'd gone to the countryside with her parents for the experience and hit her own foot with a hoe. Shen Jiaxing wanted to jump off the train and run.
Unfortunately, she didn't have the nerve.
Now she was already aboard the special train for educated youths. She had missed her chance to stay in the city, and a return was nowhere in sight. As Shen Jiaxing fretted, a commotion suddenly broke out in the next car.
There was a human trafficker!
A soldier stepped forward. Broad-shouldered and narrow-waisted, he was the picture of righteousness. Calm and decisive, he confronted the criminal and took him down in no time. Several young women in the car watched with flushed cheeks. Shen Jiaxing squeezed into the crowd, watching without blinking.
Du Mulin happened to meet a young woman on a train, and the two became pen pals.
She wrote to share funny stories and embarrassing moments from her life as an educated youth, and described the morning mist and evening glow of the countryside in elegant prose. He wrote about amusing training incidents in the army and the jokes his comrades played.
Their letters grew more frequent, until one month passed without a single letter from her.
Du Mulin couldn't sit still, and an inexplicable anxiety gnawed at him.
Before long, he received two letters at once:
One was from his mother, saying she'd found him a wife and that the woman was already on her way to his unit.
The other was from the young woman, who wrote: I've started dating a soldier.
Du Mulin stared at the letter, so irritated he felt he might explode.
Then, a few days later, the "wife" his mother had arranged finally stood before him.
Their eyes met, and all his unease and irritation vanished at once.
So it had been you all along.

Blurb for The Eighties and the Get-Rich System:
Chu Sese, a rural lifestyle blogger with a million followers, dies of overwork after livestreaming all night. When she wakes up, she's become Chu Sese, a high school graduate in the 1980s.
Chu Sese had always been a good student, but she performed poorly on the college entrance exam and didn't get into university. Her family pressured her to marry in exchange for a bride price, and, unable to see another way out, she jumped into a river.
The Chu Sese from the twenty-first century has taken over her body. Dealing with her family's pressure is a small matter. She'll work hard to make money and get rich, then slap them in the face with it.
Just as the thought crosses her mind, a System appears in her head. "Ding! The Get-Rich System is at your service. Host, please choose whether to bind with the System."
"Ding! Host, please escape your destitute circumstances."
With not a penny to her name, Chu Sese starts looking for ways to earn money. She catches scorpions to sell, then sells big steamed buns, successfully earning enough for tuition.
"Ding! Mission complete. Reward: a steamed-bun-making machine."
"Ding! Host, please complete the shop-opening mission."
Chu Sese opens a steamed bun shop, and her buns become a sensation throughout the city.
"Ding! Mission complete. Reward: an instant noodle production line."
"Ding! Host, please complete the factory-opening mission."
The missions grow harder each time. She goes from being a village girl to the richest person in the country, with businesses spread nationwide. Then the System issues another mission.
"Ding! Please become the richest person in the world."
It's a difficult goal, but it's also her ambition.
Theme: Live a life of dazzling brilliance.
[After receiving the food, several educated youths who had previously felt that there was little food were in trouble. Although the food was small, it was too much for their hands to carry, and their shoulders could not bear it. The weight of twenty or thirty kilograms was too much for their shoulders to bear. Isn't it? Even if you have never done any work, you can't move twenty or thirty pounds at all? Is this body that of a normal adult? Approximately the standard weight of a 3-year-old child? None of the 4 people can carry or carry it?
I almost don't recognize the words "Handsome People's Liberation Army"

Suddenly I thought of playing in the fields when I was a kid, and then trying to cut rice, and then I cut my hand 😂😂😂
Studying in college is really a happy time, much more comfortable than working. I don't understand why the protagonist in the chronicle novel doesn't want to study 😂
"Come back to the army and take care of them." "Catch a big bug for the author~ Will
"The cake house is mine" is a big bug for the author~ Fangzi
"Cut the shepherd's purse" to the author to catch a big worm~ There's one more word
