Story Blurb:

Legend says that a monster with a human body and a snake's tail lives in the hills behind Jizi Village. The villagers call her the Beauty Snake.

Ji Yunfei has heard about the Beauty Snake since childhood, along with the "glorious stories" of how many people she has eaten.

As a typical wage slave, Ji Yunfei can't think of anything more interesting to do than raise snakes. Oh, and looking for the Beauty Snake counts, too.

She thought the Beauty Snake was nothing but a fantasy of hers, but a trip back to the village made her certain that the Beauty Snake existed.

If the Beauty Snake wasn't real, then what about that woman's slender waist, so fine you could encircle it with your hands, her smooth, snowy-white back, and her powerful black serpent's tail patterned with yellow diamonds...? Were those all fake, too??

After returning from the village, Ji Yunfei got drunk at a bar and ran into a woman who seemed inexplicably familiar.

But unlike in the usual stories, Ji Yunfei didn't get up to anything naughty with the beauty...

Yin Yin Snake: (turns pitiful eyes toward the little snakes behind her) Babies, Mommy doesn't want us anymore. We don't want her either! (Gets ready to return to the snake den.)

Fei Fei: (reaches out like Er Kang) Yin Yin! Come back!

It's basically a fluffy little romance about a scheming snake constantly seducing an office worker

Fei Fei falls for her through their day-to-day life together!!!

[Lots of original worldbuilding. Same-sex marriage is legal in this setting. There will be a role reversal, and both leads are each other's first and only partner.]

Little Yu Wuyi kowtowed to fifty graves in a row, but nothing happened.

Yu Wuyi is now eighteen. She has had Yin-Yang Eyes since childhood and learned Taoist arts from her grandmother, Yu Song, to protect herself.

Then, on the very day she received her admission letter from University L, she got a phone call summoning her back to the countryside.

But then she found herself dressed in a red wedding gown, locked inside a bridal chamber decorated with red wedding characters and lit by candles, unable to get out.

And when she saw the owner of the jade pendant she was wearing...

She finally understood why she had been brought here...

Yu Wuyi huddled in the corner of the bed, eyeing the beautiful, icy woman ghost in front of her warily. She threatened her in a trembling voice:

"D-don't come any closer. I can handle myself..."

But the ghost was unfazed and moved even closer. Her icy breath brushed Yu Wuyi's ear, making the tip of it burn.

"Save your little tricks. You're not even worth a second glance..."

"I've protected you for thirteen years. It isn't too much to collect a little interest today..."

At first, Yu Wuyi panicked about suddenly having a ghost wife.

The ghost claimed to be a princess, but Yu Wuyi thought she was more like a lazy cat.

Impossible to read, and always saying things that hit a nerve.

She appeared and disappeared without warning, and was incredibly powerful.

Meanwhile, Yu Wuyi's meager skills couldn't even beat her...

So what could she do? Just take it!

But later, Yu Wuyi realized

that this ghost always managed to save her from danger.

She could blush, too, and a gentle push was enough to knock her down.

When pinned to the bed, she'd call Yu Wuyi's name through a stifled sob...

When Yu Wuyi realized she had fallen for her, she panicked completely.

Her grandmother's words were forever engraved in her heart.

She shouldn't fall for Qin An.

But it didn't matter anymore.

Qin An, if you want, you can use me however you like.

[Reading Guide

1. The main cast is all women, though there are both male and female cannon-fodder side characters in the smaller stories. This won't affect the overall reading experience.

2. The story is plot-focused. Xiao An will be away for a while before the first mini-story.

3. The romance is a slow burn.

4. The author is a huge fan of supernatural folklore and folk customs, so the story covers a lot of ground, including romances between humans and ghosts, humans and monsters, all kinds of folk customs, witchcraft, and more.
