I Accidentally Became a Scumbag Who Abandoned Her Wife and Daughter

While visiting Rongcheng to pay respects to her ancestors, Kang Jinyan unexpectedly ran into a neighbor she'd not seen in many years.

The neighbor looked at her indignantly. "Xiao Kang, even if you're doing much better for yourself now, you can't take things too far. Lingling is your own flesh and blood. You may have abandoned our Xinxin, but you can't just ignore your own daughter completely. People need to have a conscience, no matter what."

Kang Jinyan had lost touch with Jiang Xin many years ago. "???"

That day, she learned that Jiang Xin, who had gradually lost contact with her over the years, now had a four-year-old child.

And she'd told everyone that the child was Kang Jinyan's. So, in the eyes of all their old neighbors and friends, Kang Jinyan was a despicable person who'd callously abandoned her first love and her own child for fame and fortune.

Once she learned the truth, Kang Jinyan immediately went to find the friend who'd once been closest to her.

After learning that Jiang Xin had been deceived by a local thug, who'd taken her body and her heart, Kang Jinyan brought the struggling mother and daughter to live with her.

After all, Jiang Xin had once been her best friend, and like a little sister to her. She couldn't just turn her back on her.

When Jiang Xin saw Kang Jinyan again, she was completely stunned and at a loss.

She was afraid to be around Kang Jinyan and didn't want to be near her.

But she'd accidentally told her parents too much before.

Now, seeing how eagerly her parents were looking forward to it, she felt she had no way to refuse.
