Irreverent version:
Youth has no price tag. Break up right now! Tear up the love letters, trample your boyfriend, and climb to the top of life!
Ahem. Now for the serious blurb:
Many years later, old and frail, Chen Jiwei looked back, and saw flowers strewn all along the path she had walked.
She had once been a stubborn stone, a rotten log, a poor soul trapped in a cocoon with no way out.
She had once drowned for years in empty romance, muddling through a decade.
She had once been lost in delusion, obsession, greed, and anger, with nowhere to turn.
Until one day, she woke from a long dream. Flipping through the writings of her youth, Chen Jiwei suddenly remembered:
Oh, I wanted to be a judge.
This is probably the story of a hopeless romantic who gets battered by the harsh realities of life, finally breaks up, picks up her youthful dream again, takes the adult college entrance exam to get into her ideal school, works hard and pushes onward, and eventually becomes a judge as she always hoped.
P.S. The protagonist has a boyfriend early on. They start dating in her second year of high school and stay together through college, but eventually break up. For the first few months, the protagonist is still in a daze. Since this story mainly focuses on the heroine's growth, it is tagged as no CP. In my view, her relationship with her ex is just a whetstone on her path to maturity. It won't take up much of the story, but it is important. Please don't read if that bothers you.
P.P.S. The protagonist is imperfect. When she is in her hopeless-romantic phase, she really does some ridiculous things. She argues and gets mad at the guy over all sorts of trivial matters, and he is more or less an average guy.
Theme: The future is vast as the sea, and there is plenty of time ahead.
The name of the heroine is taken from "The one who makes great achievements is small, and the one who accumulates small things will be saved." The name of the ex-boyfriend is a lie, and the author doesn't know what the meaning is [Three Flower Cat Head]
