Kudo Shinichi thought his sister was acting strange.
To protect his sister, he hadn't told her that he'd become an elementary schooler. But for some reason, she insisted that Conan was Shinichi. Then, out of nowhere, she applied to a school in the suburbs of Tokyo.
That was probably for the best. Being around him was too dangerous.
But when his sister came back a year later, she had become strange.
She could easily climb ten stories straight up, run dozens of kilometers without stopping, catch a blade barehanded, and dodge bullets. She'd apparently acquired some kind of supernatural power, though he had no idea how. Every day, she kept breaking down and asking what year it was. When her friends visited, they called each other classmates, then quickly corrected themselves and called each other teachers.
When he asked how she learned all that, she said it was in Hawaii.
