As they investigate further, they find a court transcript:

The judge says, "Chanel Oberlin, your adoptive parents dissolved the adoption three weeks ago. They are suing you for driving a Land Rover into their living room."
Chanel tearfully protests, "The driveway was too long."
The judge says, "Don't worry, Miss Oberlin."
Chanel breathes a sigh of relief.
The judge continues, "The three of you aren't going to prison. You're going to a psychiatric hospital."
The Chanel on the screen and her half-siblings watching it say in unison:
