Xu Xiayi is called in at the last minute to save a variety show. The director tells her she just needs to follow the script and play a devoted fan for one day.
Xu Xiayi confidently replies, "No problem. You think a little acting like this can stump me?"
But on the day of filming, Xu Xiayi follows the script and opens the dressing-room door, ready for an unexpected encounter with the celebrity. She freezes.
Surprise flashes across her face, then astonishment, then shock, until finally all that remains is awkwardness.
Standing right outside the door is none other than her ex-boyfriend of seven years, Zhou Shenyan.
She must be seeing things, she tells herself. Maybe Zhou Shenyan has an ordinary face, and she just happened to run into someone who looks like him.
Xu Xiayi stubbornly closes the door.
When she opens it again, the same infuriating face is still there.
Ha, it really is him. Xu Xiayi breaks into a cold sweat.
The moment he sees Xu Xiayi, the man outside the door smiles a little wider. Zhou Shenyan stares at her and slowly says, "Long time no see, girl-friend."
