[Identity V] When You Stumble Into the Oletus Asylum

Prologue:

My name is Chen An. I thought I could spend my days slacking off, doing the bare minimum for the lowest possible salary, and live a carefree life until retirement. If my laziness hadn't made my supervisor send me to the infamous Oletis Asylum to look for my long-missing colleague, Miss Alice DeRoss, I might still believe that.

Apologies for the OOC. The author is a high school senior and doesn't have much time to write.

This novel is adapted from the characters and setting of the game Identity V.

Some stories may differ from the original, since they're based on the author's own interpretation.

[The author has played Identity V for six years and is definitely not a noob, so please don't flame me.]

Everyone in this novel is mentally ill, and some even have supernatural abilities.

The characters include:

1. Jack with dissociative identity disorder

(The bad boy has pica and wants to eat you.)

2. Ithaqua with an Oedipus complex

(He imagines you as his bride and hopes to have a child with you.)

3. Aesop with necrophilia

(Become his silent mother and lover.)

4. Frederick and Keir with Cotard's syndrome

(They believe they are already dead, depend on you, and want to take you with them on their final journey.)

5. Naib with postwar trauma

(He says he wants to protect you. Your eyes remind him of the sky over his hometown.)

6. Victor with persecutory delusions

(He writes to tell you he likes how quiet you are and hopes you'll stay with him forever.)

I may add Norton, Joseph, and Aesop later. It'll all depend on inspiration. I really want to write Mike's scenes ahead of time, though.

A bad little boy with freckles and a smiling face, who longs for the warmth of a family and is good at hiding who he is.

Anyway, it'll all depend on inspiration. As for the protagonist, Chen An can be male or female, so feel free to imagine them either way.

For now, though, the author is writing from a male point of view.
