Reader's guide: The heroine will toy with the feelings of several male characters and make them suffer. All the women are sexually experienced; the men are not.
A let-loose work with an explosion of S tendencies.
The tale of a foolish empress and her foolish deeds in a feudal dynasty.
The women are stronger than the men in every sense, but this is not gender-bender. Set in an alternate history.
Li Yuanqing was the second empress of the Tang Dynasty, and she was born at just the right time.
Her incredible mother had blazed a trail as the first woman to rule as emperor, and her reign had earned everlasting fame. The nation grew more prosperous, while her weak, short-lived cousin was the last prince of the Li family and passed away within a year of taking the throne.
And so, by the will of Heaven, the throne fell into Li Yuanqing's hands.
She worked diligently, rising before dawn and retiring late, reclaiming four lost provinces, opening trade routes between the Hu and Han peoples, and quelling the southern borderlands... With her own hands, she ushered in the prosperous Changqi era. Then, because she worked too hard, she died young after reigning for just ten years.
Who could have guessed she would be reborn? This time, she would never work so hard to be a perfect emperor again. She just wanted to live as she pleased. What was wrong with being a foolish ruler for a change?
For example, first she would lock up the rebellious little assassin she hadn't had the heart to touch in her previous life, keeping him by her side in a private prison.
Then there was Chancellor Gu, always putting on airs as her tutor and restricting her in every way. He made her grind her teeth in anger. This time, she would stop respecting her teacher and instead "make a move on him."
There was also the wild and untamed prince of the steppe, with his full chest and tempting bronze skin;
The cold, heartless physician from the Valley of Emotionless Love, who knew nothing of love;
The perfect imperial consort her treacherous minister had specially designed for her;
The sickly young man she met by chance, who would cry and beg Li Yuanqing to take responsibility for him;
Her close friend and former classmate, who had secretly loved her for years...
When one romance ends, another begins.
This is probably an extremely old-fashioned, let-loose work.
It might become a collection of interconnected stories, with multiple empresses forming pairings.
