[Stubborn, pretending-to-be-composed master x sharp-tongued, wolfish apprentice]
No one knows that Qiao Ruoyi, a down-to-earth and gentle top student in real life, is actually the mysterious legend of a popular game.
She may not be in the martial world, but her legend lives on there.
The number-one player is her apprentice, her ID tops the first-clear dungeon leaderboard, and she sits firmly at the top of the PvP win-rate rankings.
After years away from the game, she returns to the newbie village with an outrageously lucky buff.
She gets rare materials from a casual monster kill, and even being hunted down can trigger a hidden quest.
She meant to keep her head down and build up her strength, but wound up killing her way onto the wanted leaderboard.
Why does the number-one wanted player look so familiar? Could he be the wayward apprentice she lost touch with years ago...?
She hears he still has feelings for her and can't forget her.
She doesn't buy it. How could insulting him for being bad at the game count as love?
Look at him chasing her relentlessly with a red name, all vicious and bloodthirsty. He's clearly been waiting years to kill her!

She doesn't know her secret identity was exposed long ago.
He doesn't know her real secret identity is still perfectly concealed.
She searched for her through a thousand crowds, yet when they finally met face to face, they didn't recognize each other.
