◎ They meet at the new fast-food kindergarten
◎ The first-generation Kid dies, and Kaito becomes Kid two years earlier than in the original timeline
◎ Black Organization: Yes. Animal Kingdom: No.
◎ Kuroba Kaito uses the alias John Fukuzawa
◎ Dr. Agasa has taken steps to conceal Touko's identity. To outsiders, including the Organization, Kuroba Kaito is simply Kudo Shinichi's younger cousin, staying with the Kudo family. No one will look into the Kuroba residence...
◎ Kaito and Shinichi look about thirty percent alike. During the Kid years, Shinichi helps out by showing his face.
“We're accomplices, Detective.”
◎ Ahem, the bit where Touko looks at underwear has been removed. I think he'd much rather sneak a peek at the Detective's underwear. (Not really.)
◎ Aoko is still in Ekoda. She and Ran were kindergarten and elementary school classmates, and go to the same high school but are in different classes.
Summary: The two go to the amusement park together, solve a case together, sneak a look at a deal involving the Organization together, get knocked out together, are given APTX 4869 together, move into the Kuroba residence together (next door to the Kudo residence), and start first grade at Teitan Elementary together.
● The five members of the Police Academy group survive in this AU
↑ (This is purely wish fulfillment. I might not get around to writing it, but I hope they get to live happily in a parallel world.)
Author: “This was written on a whim, so I might drop it at any time. My writing isn't great, and there may be OOC moments and plot holes, so please point them out in the comments. The cases will probably be copied from the manga. I'm busy in real life, so updates will be irregular...”
If you're okay with all that,
then let the show begin.
What will they do with their childhood friend, now shrunk down? Where will the two of them go from here? Is there any chance they can return to normal? Stay tuned for The Childhood Friends Raising Plan.
Theme: After the storm comes sunshine and clear skies.
No pitfalls. . . Three times I was too busy and had no time to update.
