[The Confidant (A Cunning Adviser and His Feisty Wife) Fanfic] Moonlit Mountains and Boundless Skies (See the Introduction for the Original Plot)

When someone who has already died is reborn in the body of someone they knew in the past, and the little girl's spirit learns what the older sister she now inhabits has been through...

A story of one strange coincidence after another. Short, and possibly a bit jarring, so read with caution.

A personal summary of the plot of Behind the Scenes: The Clever Adviser and His Spoiled Wife:

This story is about a scumbag whose wife loves him dearly and is very jealous. He is always flirting around, until he seduces a gentle, demure young woman. When she discovers that he has a wife, she thinks they don't love each other, so she tries to steal him away. After many twists and turns, the young woman and the wife become friends. Eventually, the young woman makes a clean break and tells the scumbag, "Don't come here alone anymore. If you come by yourself, don't bother. But if you bring your wife, you're very welcome." She feels quite relieved... Then a few days later, I read on, and damn, the wife was dead, and the scumbag and the young woman ended up together...

There are two especially awkward details. The scumbag's wife takes a fatal blow for him and dies, but before she goes, she actually puts the other woman and the scumbag's hands together... The other is at the end, when the other woman and the scumbag visit his wife's grave. He says, "Wife, you always wanted me to retire from public life, and so on. Now Xiao Xian and I have made it happen..."

I was so furious I saw red, and that's why I wrote this.
