My new novel, A Rose-Colored Marriage, is a marriage-first, love-later story. I have chapters saved up, so please look forward to it!
Six-year age gap / wealthy families / both leads are each other's first
Proud, upright heiress from Hong Kong Island vs. dignified, steady big shot from the capital
01
Rumor has it that the Hong Kong media have long been too afraid to report that Liang Shili, the second daughter of Hong Kong Island's richest man, was dumped by the second son of the Zhou family.
People gossiped about it endlessly in private, but Liang Shili carried on as if nothing had happened.
Then, half a year later, Liang Shili married the second son's older brother, Zhou Jindai, the head of the Zhou family. The news left everyone stunned.
Everyone said Liang Shili had forced him into the marriage, and that it wouldn't last.
At a gathering with friends, someone made a disparaging remark about Liang Shili.
No one expected Zhou Jindai, who never showed his emotions, to lose his temper for the first time.
"My wife isn't someone you get to talk about."
02
Liang Shili had always thought Zhou Jindai didn't like her. Their personalities were worlds apart.
They had married simply to give their two families an explanation.
It was just a business alliance. Anyone would have done.
But when she was feeling down,
Zhou Jindai put all his work aside and rushed from the capital to Hong Kong Island.
He brushed the snow from her shoulder, and melted away the whole winter.
03
She had pinned up her hair, revealing the pale curve of her swanlike neck. Now, as she moved, a few strands had fallen loose, tickling the nape of her neck. Zhou Jindai's gaze deepened. He gathered her hair and gently tucked it back into place, then caught Liang Shili's eyes and made her meet his, his dark pupils reflecting her radiant face.
Liang Shili blinked, wanting to escape this absurd place and the absurd man, but Zhou Jindai gently lifted her by the waist. His voice was hoarse. "Miss Liang, say it again. I'm Zhou Jindai."
"And I'm no gentleman."
Her breathing came in quick, uneven bursts. It passed through her shirt and brushed his chest, bringing a damp warmth that sank straight into his heart, an itch that made him want to hold her tight.
His steady breaths fell against her hairline. Though it was summer, she shivered for no reason, then grew still a few seconds later.
The scent of tobacco mingled with the aroma of wine, growing richer and more intoxicating. The young woman’s chest heaved. She opened her gorgeous, innocent eyes, her voice hazy. "Then what are you?"

After reading it, I think the writing is actually quite good, but I feel that the ending feels a bit like a quick glance. If the extra chapter could write more about their sweet daily life or raising children, I think it would be more perfect (no malice! I am also looking forward to the author's new book 🤩)
"Yan Jiucai slowly withdrew his gaze" gave the author a big bug~ The heroine's name was misspelled. . . I was still talking about who it was, but it turned out to be the new heroine next door. I didn't tell you. Although it's over, can we serve some snacks? There's no one who can type the heroine's name incorrectly twice in an extra chapter 💔 💔 💔 💔
Can you update it earlier next time? The main reason is that the word count is not that big and I have to wait until very late to update it. Can you let readers finish reading it earlier and go to bed earlier?
"Seeing Yan Jiu not moving," this is a big bug for the author~ Oh, it's three times 💔💔💔💔
Is there no extra episode? I can't get enough 😭 😭 😭
When will there be a new episode?
