Xu Guinian has admired Song Wanjun since they were teenagers, applying to the same middle school, high school, and university as him.
A gathering in college brought the two closer. There was no passionate confession or whirlwind romance. They spent ten years by each other's side, living an ordinary life as calm as still water.
Song Wanjun is insecure, believing he is broken inside, but Xu Guinian gives him special affection and confidence.
But he can no longer enjoy it. He's dying, and his life is beginning to count down...
At the end of his life, they take a trip.
We set off on our trip on a whim. He and I walk hand in hand. He carries nothing but the breeze, while I carry endless mountain ranges. His road ahead stretches beyond sight, while mine ends at the final chapter. I just don't know whether I'll reach the cliff at the edge of life first, or be crushed by the mountains along the way.
