A Bloody Love Story [Novella]

I was the rising star of the scientific world, but in the end I stood in the dock.

They accused me of murder and called me a madman, claiming I was trying to play God and control other people's lives.

I said, "Why shouldn't I?"

If mediocre fools can decide whether other people live or die, why shouldn't I be able to?

When the judge delivered the verdict, I smiled faintly.

How could death possibly be my fate?
