Synopsis:

Chen Yansheng, the only spirit master certified by the cycle of reincarnation, is the last guide in the human world.

People revere him, but fear him too. He can kill vengeful ghosts with his bare hands, and wipe out entire factions, all to eliminate every potential threat.

Amid the public's fury, his spirit soul was shattered and sealed on a seemingly peaceful night.

When he opened his eyes again, Chen Yansheng discovered he had been reborn in the body of a person in a vegetative state. Time was still moving, and he was not dead.

"Was it really worth ending up like this for the sake of justice?" a voice asked. "What spirit master? What strongest? You got in someone's way, so you deserved to die."

The voice in his head was like sweet poison, guiding him little by little. "Become immortal with me, using your spirit soul."

"I can kill everyone who stands against you, as long as you..."

Chen Yansheng cut him off, his expression blank. "Who told you I was a spirit master?"

In this life, Chen Yansheng only wants to keep doing what he ought to do. Then one day, a monster appears by his side and recognizes him at a glance.

"Don't you have anything to explain to me?" His voice was icy.

Chen Yansheng looked puzzled. "Do we know each other?"

So the monster pinned him down. "We don't know each other, huh? Then let's jog your memory."

After one thing led to another, he finally realized: this was the romantic debt he'd left behind from several lifetimes ago!
