I'm Not an Idle Beta, I'm Working!

You are a beta wage slave in an ABO world.

The little omega at the desk next to you has been worn out by his alpha again and can't come to work. Your alpha boss is yelling at people again. Haha, these people are always so unstable. You tap away at your keyboard, thinking that alphas and omegas should just go home and make babies like good little couples instead of coming out to disrupt society.

But that's impossible. In an ABO world, betas have the most worthless lives. Burning yourself out at your desk is your destiny. Let those smitten alphas and omegas make their own bloody messes.

An alpha looks for an omega, an omega looks for an alpha. Why are they looking for you, a beta?

The scheming, quick-witted little sparrow; the haughty, coquettish green-tea bitch. Omegas really are noisy and fragile.

The sharp-minded boss at work and clueless one after hours; the arrogant, love-starved CEO consumed by jealousy; the officer who seems chaste in public but burns with desire in private. Alphas really are irritable and destructive.

Enough already. I'm not some idle beta. I'm working here.

Content warnings:

1. Second-person narration.

2. ABO, female beta with no genitalia, BG romance. Even if the sky falls, it's still BG.

3. No picking teams, no arguing about screentime.

4. Includes genuine shipping of real people.

5. The women aren't virgins, but all the men are.

6. The heroine isn't a saint. She's an ordinary person with flaws, and she treats the male characters like a normal person would. An ordinary-looking woman surrounded by admirers.

7. No ABO equality politics. At most, we support equal pay for equal work.

I've tried my best to avoid misogynistic insults when writing characters cursing. If I accidentally use any, please remind me to correct them. I also won't spend much time describing the heroine's objective appearance.
