Surviving on the Black Fog Highway

From the start, Tang Xueqing is dead. When she wakes, an unfamiliar man whose face she cannot make out has bound her hands and feet and furiously stabbed her in the chest several times, then buried her in a pit he had dug in advance.

Luckily, every stab missed her vital organs. After a tremendous effort, Tang Xueqing finally claws the dirt away from her face, only to discover that the man has not gone far. He is standing beside his car, smoking and waiting for her to breathe her last.

Tang Xueqing lies in the pit, gazing up at the stars, motionless as she waits and waits, until the man finally decides she is dead and drives away. She quickly climbs out of the pit and runs in the opposite direction from the car.

She runs wildly until she mistakenly stumbles into a rest stop, beginning her journey in the Black Mist Highway Survival Simulator and unlocking the Death Rewind skill.

While other players struggle to survive in the cracks between dangers inside the instances, Tang Xueqing enters them with the resolve to die.

Monster: “I don't know either! She suddenly went berserk and attacked even herself.”

Every instance is full of dangers and monsters, and even the players scheme against one another. But Tang Xueqing has the special skill Death Rewind: when she dies, she starts over.

Everyone who knows Tang Xueqing thinks there is something crazily beautiful about her. Her catchphrases are: “Forget it, let me die for a bit.” “Hmph, that's all you've got!”

Tang Xueqing uses all the points she earns for clearing the various instances to buy equipment for traveling across the highway. When other people see monsters wandering along the road, they are so scared that they turn and run. Tang Xueqing finishes her last sip of cola, crushes the bottle, takes control of the machine gun installed on her RV, and unleashes a torrent of bullets into the monster.
