[Synopsis]
In the future, after humanity's Great Migration, people settled in the distant Jinliu System. The system's original inhabitants, the Frontier Star people, and humanity are as incompatible as fire and water.
The Spirit Association was formed, and among its ranks is humanity's strongest team: SA.A.
The recruits selected during SA.A's first-ever intake mysteriously disappeared that very night.
The Fogfall Arc
The team finds themselves on Shiyan Star, where a massive flu outbreak caused by the mysterious fog is raging. Those infected turn into monsters in the fog! And here, they discover the existence of a strange ecosystem within it...
The Frontier Star Arc
SA.A discovers that the Frontier Star people have developed along a path entirely different from humanity's. They learn how power truly works and also realize that the Frontier Star leader seems to have close ties to the Spirit Association.
After returning to the upper star tier, they discover that every step has been part of someone else's plan.
The Tracing the Past Arc
As they trace the story back to its beginning, SA.A uncovers a rewritten past and the truth behind the ecosystem in the fog.
The so-called Great Migration did indeed take humanity away from Earth, but it seems humanity may never have truly left "this place"...
[A quick note]:
This is an ensemble story, and the main cast is the SA.A team.
The men and women are all formidable. There is no "strong female lead, stronger male lead" nonsense!
Everyone is smart and emotionally intelligent!
The protagonist field had to be filled in, so I listed the main character's sole official pairing.
There is no fixed viewpoint or single main character.
Whoever you like can be the protagonist in your eyes.
The first few chapters are slower paced, mainly introducing the characters and the world, showcasing their abilities, and laying the groundwork.
If you're not very patient, sweethearts can start reading from the Fogfall Arc.
To help keep the characters straight, here's a brief introduction:
SA.A team:
Captain: Qiao Li (female)
Vice-Captain: Huo Yu (male)
Members: Jing Wen (female), Feng Shiyun (male), Tao Ting (female)
New recruits in training: Yao Bai (male), Cong Ye (male)
Besides the plot, the story also focuses on the bonds between the ensemble cast.
The SA.A members who grew up together will not have mutual romantic feelings! Again, the members who grew up together will not have mutual romantic feelings!
The bond between the members who grew up together is familial!!! Familial!!!
Daily updates at 9:00 p.m. I'll finish the story.
