* Beautiful fox spirit x aloof immortal lord
The wild fox clan feeds on yang energy, beguiling people to cultivate their powers. To practice her demonic arts, Ye Wan has to start by honing her skills in dreams.
On her first night in a dream, Ye Wan wakes in the room of a human scholar. By day, he likes to wear white and looks slender and frail. But once he takes off his robe, his chest has an impressive curve.
The fox spirit clutches her tail. "..."
Ah, his yang energy seems like it would be so easy to drink up.
*
After just a few days of feeding, Ye Wan starts to imagine that her demonic power is growing.
But her older sister tells her that yang energy absorbed in a dream doesn't count.
While Ye Wan is at a loss, the elders of her family pull some strings and send her up to the Ninth Heaven to practice immortal arts for a while.
On her first day among the immortals, Ye Wan meets the legendary reincarnation of the ruthless Sword God, who kills any demon on sight. She hears he's also a teacher to this year's students.
Ye Wan has always been terrified of immortal lords, so she trembles and tries to hide her fox tail. "G-Greetings, Immortal Lord..."
But during her time in the Ninth Heaven, Ye Wan always feels dazed and confused. She's a slow learner, at the bottom of the class in both swordsmanship and alchemy, and she's scared, too... At night, her beloved is always clinging to her. At this rate, she'll have so much demonic energy she won't be able to hide it.
But the thing Ye Wan fears still comes to pass. After a trial, Teacher Pei keeps her behind and grabs her tail.
"What are we going to do with you, being so careless?"
*
After that, fearing one thing would lead to another, Ye Wan starts avoiding the man in her dreams.
The day after she cruelly destroys her dream pill, she enters the dream again. Immortal energy fills the bedchamber. Just as she is drifting in confusion, she hears her beloved ask her to call him "Teacher" a few times.
His large hand settles below her waist and slowly closes around her fox tail. He chuckles. "Or is it that our Wan only calls me Teacher in class?"
Ye Wan is so scared that she immediately drops out and runs away.
