A Scientific Twist on a Martini

Nan Limei is a player who somehow triggers bugs in every game she plays. The glitches range from characters constantly clipping through objects to skill values going haywire. Since Nan Limei is always reporting bugs to game developers, she has somehow become a popular pick for closed beta tests across all kinds of games.

One perfectly ordinary day, Nan Limei found a new single-player management game. She downloaded it, registered, and created a character with practiced ease. And then...

[Ding! Hello, Agent. This is System No. 052, the Science Elite Simulator~~]

Nan Limei triggered the biggest bug in any game she'd ever played. She was forced into the game character she'd created, bound to an unreliable system, and sent to the world of Detective Conan.

Want to return to your original world, receive a huge compensation payment from the system, and enjoy a worry-free retirement with all your needs taken care of? Then work hard to become a science elite!

Nan Limei, who had no special skills, pointed at herself in disbelief. "Seriously? I'm supposed to become an elite?!!"

[The title and blurb are provisional. I'll change them if I come up with something better. Tentatively no romance.]
