Has the Bad Woman Been Cremated Yet?

[Notice: This story is on hiatus for now. I bow in apology, truly sorry... I started writing before I had any advance readers lined up. It was too impulsive, and there are too few followers...]

"I want that girl to take my measurements," Li Piansang said as she entered a clothing store.

The manager said, "Sorry, Miss Li. She's a designer, she doesn't take measurements."

Li Piansang: "I want her."

Wen Ci slowly raised her eyes. One glance, and a love that would last a lifetime.

·

After Li Piansang left, the manager whispered to Wen Ci, "That was the queen of the dating scene, the only daughter of the Li family. She dates men and women, and changes partners dozens of times a year."

Wen Ci gave a quiet nod. "Mm."

She thought, I still want to pursue her.

At the store, Wen Ci was a quiet, gentle girl. When it came to pursuing Li Piansang, though, she was direct.

As for Li Piansang, one day she'd flirt with Wen Ci, the next she'd refuse to see her, keeping her on tenterhooks with her hot-and-cold attention.

Wen Ci saw clearly that Li Piansang was a good person who knew her limits and had never crossed a line.

So she pursued her in earnest, even though Li Piansang could change her attitude in the blink of an eye.

Until one day, Wen Ci heard her best friend and Li Piansang doing that kind of thing in a room. She smiled at herself through her tears and left the city without a sound.

For three years after Wen Ci left, she faced surgery and chemotherapy alone.

After Wen Ci disappeared without a word, Li Piansang searched for her every day and missed her every second, but she couldn't find her.

The beautiful face and figure Li Piansang had once been so proud of grew thinner and thinner until she was gaunt and little more than skin and bones.

When Wen Ci returned, she had a little girl with her.

That day, Li Piansang pushed open the door of a shop and heard the little girl call Wen Ci "Mom."

Li Piansang felt her heart ache.

·

Only later did Li Piansang realize that this pain was just the beginning.
