Hiding His Bandit Nature

A fierce but simple-minded bandit chief gong x a frail young strategist shou

Guan Zhong x Bo Yu

[Blurb]

By a twist of fate, Bo Yu was abducted to a bandit stronghold, where he ran into a big, dumb guy who treated him with all his heart and soul.

The big guy had broad shoulders, a strong back, and striking good looks. He was a bit of a blockhead, but he was always stirring Bo Yu's heart.

He had the skills of the fox spirit from the stories, but seemed more like a foolish tiger spirit.

So be it.

If there were stories of fox spirits offering themselves in marriage to repay a debt of gratitude, then perhaps he, a mere scholar, could follow the example of those who came before him.

But...

Bo Yu held his aching waist, his earlobes flushed bright red.

He really must be one stupid fox!

How was this any different from sucking the life force out of someone?

The full moon hung high, and the front courtyard was thick with the smell of wine.

"Guan Zhong, you've had enough." With a sigh, someone tugged at his sleeve. "It's the Hour of the Pig. Time to turn in."

Drunk, Guan Zhong scooped the person into his arms and nuzzled his neck, acting spoiled.

"A Yu, my head hurts."

The night breeze was intoxicating, but nothing compared to the dazzling flush on the other's ear.

"...Let's go back to bed. It's cold out here."

"It's fine... I used to sleep outside all the time, heh heh. The sky for a blanket, the earth for a bed. What could be better?"

In the deep night, the young strategist's voice was so soft it seemed it could be crushed by the wind. "Do you want me to sleep outside too?"
