She turned and met a pair of dark eyes. The boy's exquisite features came into view, gradually aligning with the face she had just seen on the screen.

"Why were you standing so close to him?" His voice carried a trace of hurt.

Pei Xi instinctively avoided his eyes and answered calmly, "He's just an ordinary..."

Unfortunately, before she could finish, he strode over to her. Pei Xi was about to make up another excuse, but Xu Xizhou had already taken off his hearing aids with his other hand, deliberately putting on an innocent expression. A faint smile seemed to linger at the corner of his lips.
