Xu Kaile is a laid-back video blogger. After leaving his band six years ago, he devoted himself to being a couch potato, hiding behind the internet and refusing to engage with society. One day, he forgot to switch to his alt account while criticizing someone else's video, and the creator came after him for revenge. By accident, this set off a process to "cure" him.

Ding He is an animated film producer. He took the criticism of his video personally, donned an alt account, and went online to put his critic on trial. Just as he was getting his fill, he unexpectedly crossed paths with that person at work. With every encounter, those hands, and that person, made his heart itch with desire.

*Celluloid was the world's first synthetic plastic. In early 2D animation, artists drew moving figures on transparent sheets made of celluloid, then layered them over still backgrounds and photographed each frame in turn. This meant they no longer had to redraw the same backgrounds again and again, greatly improving production efficiency. Celluloid sheets have since been phased out of animation, but the material still has uses elsewhere, such as making guitar picks. Celluloid guitar picks are inexpensive, but not durable.
