Shattered Snow, Broken Bones

Proud, willful heiress x disgraced, brooding, obsessive prince / younger male lead / coercive romance / groveling to win her back

When they were young, she bullied him because, among all those people, he was the only one who refused to indulge her or bow his head.

Later, when disaster struck and she fell from being a wealthy heiress to a homeless orphan, he stood before her.

"Bow your head to me, and I'll take you home."

She had once broken his pride. Now he was making her bow her head. Qiu Li couldn't bear it, so she chose someone else.

But he went mad.

"You can only choose me!"

On a snowy winter's day, he rode after her as she fled.

He pinned her across his lap, lifted her skirt, and slapped her bottom. "Are you going to run again?"

Qiu Li cried as she told him to go to hell.

When they were young, she liked him because he was different from everyone else, proud and unruly. She couldn't help wanting to get close to him, but he always made cutting remarks at her.

Now, though, she hated him. He had crushed her pride and kept her caged like a songbird.

1. Two proud people humiliate each other in turn.

2. Coercive romance + groveling to win her back.

3. Neither lead is perfect. When the male lead was young and down on his luck, he was a gloomy, stubborn beauty. As an adult, he becomes a controlling, possessive, obsessive man. He loves the heroine in both stages of his life.

4. The male lead is two years younger than the heroine.
