Synopsis

Chapters 1–41 are in first person, then it switches to third person.

After getting hit by a truck and reincarnating, I’m reborn from a Pokémon Egg.

The strongest hunter-raising System pops up before my eyes. I look at Riolu beside me, then at my own kitty paws, and can’t help letting out a deep sigh. Wrong world, buddy! Sure, Pokémon fans and Monster Hunter fans are one family, but that doesn’t mean you can mix them up like this!

I can speak Pokémon, but I have no moves. All I can do is use the System to set traps, make barrel bombs, provide support, gather materials, and do other Palico jobs.

Me: Right, right, right, I’m going to use Metronome, Felyne Wyvernstake!

A certain Riolu: ...Is that right? Is that Metronome?!

Lucario and his companions hide in the bushes, quietly watching the giant creature in the distance.

The ruler of the skies, whose species averages sixteen meters in length, beats its powerful wings as it hunts. A single blow from its claws pierces tough armor and breaks a spine. After killing its prey with precision, it tears open its abdomen and rips and swallows the flesh.

And over here, we’re 1.3 meters, 1.2 meters, 0.7 meters, and 0.9 meters tall.

Uh, are we seriously fighting a Rathalos? Can we win?

Here we go
