The Ai Shi family carries a fate in its blood: a condition known as the "Ai Shi Affliction."
It is an invisible curse laid down by fate, binding the souls of the Ai Shi and leaving them with an eternal emptiness.
Ai Shi Youzhen is an outlier in the Ai Shi family.
From the moment he was born, Youzhen came into the world in tears, full of emotion and sensitive. It was as if he were silently protesting his family's cold affliction and yearning to become whole.
"Youzhen, don't be afraid." His mother gently stroked his head, her eyes shining with warmth. "One day, you'll meet someone special. They will fill the emptiness in your heart and help your soul become whole again."
Huh? They?
Little Ai Shi Youzhen's childish face showed a hint of displeasure.
What a joke. How could the warmth of just one person possibly drive away the loneliness and cold that had lingered in his heart for so long?
At seventeen, the age when the Ai Shi family's fate usually takes hold, Ai Shi Youzhen is constantly surrounded by the attentive love of classmates and admirers. His delicate, androgynous face wears a sweet smile, while nervous dread and agitation surge inside him.
No matter how much he had resisted the idea, he can clearly feel that the day his mother foretold is about to arrive.
But if he can only draw emotional nourishment from one person, doesn't that mean he's about to lose everyone else's comfort and affection?!
Ai Shi Youzhen clutches and tears at his thick, adorable black curls. His pretty, well-behaved mask slowly crumbles, and his honey-sweet voice grows crazed and hoarse. As if on the verge of a breakdown, tears of pain and resentment spill uncontrollably from his green eyes.
No... Absolutely not... He can't accept something like that!
[What he yearns for is boundless love, love as brilliant as the stars, that will never go out.]
Concise blurb: The heroes feed themselves to the evil dragon until its greedy desires are finally appeased.
"Please note"
1. Each world has a different volume title. The current planned order is Blue Lock, Kuroko's Basketball, then Haikyu!!.
2. My own take on the landmine-type personality. Youzhen is an evil, fluffy little landmine, volatile and explosive, but harmless to society, and he'll gradually grow into a more stable person.
3. Everyone is heavily male-focused. Competitive sports and rivalries turned way up.
4. The "outlier" is the family's inherited yandere trait, which has mutated into a landmine-type personality in Youzhen.
Theme: This must be what love feels like.
