Zhong Baijian intended to do his job and eliminate the evil ghost Haiwen. But in a moment of carelessness, he let the ghost's soul enter his body. Forced to coexist as two souls in one body, they had no choice but to call a truce and face their enemies together.
Only after his memories returned did Zhong Baijian learn that he and the other man had known each other for a thousand years. Back then, the other man had not been the evil ghost Haiwen, but the renowned immortal master Bie Yifeng.
