Rules of Horror RPG

(Going premium on May 1, 2026, with a 10,000-word update that day~) Unemployed and stuck at home, Jiang Yan downloaded a management and life-simulation game called [Rules Horror Simulator] on her phone to pass the time. The game had her create rules-based horror scenarios in a simulated "city," recruit ghosts, invite players to experience them, and start livestreams to collect fear points from players and viewers. She could trade those for fear coins, as well as soul pearls born when players failed and died. Soul pearls were great for recruiting even more ghosts. Every now and then, Jiang Yan would recruit rare, powerful "SSR-rank" ghosts, such as Meng Po, Ox-Head and Horse-Face, Black and White Impermanence, and the spirit-pen ghost Sadako... and many more. The more she played, the more hooked she got. Only after she had turned most of the city into rules-based horror scenarios did Jiang Yan suddenly realize... Rules-based horror had appeared in the real world too! And it was exactly the same as the scenarios she had created! It dawned on her, and she exclaimed in delight, "So this isn't a game!" Fantastic! Changing the world starts with me! Reader's Guide: 1. The heroine is invincible from the start! 2. There's very little romance, and the male lead will probably be little more than a background character. 3. An ensemble cast, with both female and male characters. Supporting characters may have romantic storylines with each other. 4. The setting is entirely fictional and unrelated to the real world. All locations, landmarks, and other details are made up.
