A collection of short stories I suddenly felt like writing.
If the worlds of novels were real, and their characters had complete personalities of their own, what would happen to those characters and the people close to them?
A collection of short stories told from these characters' perspectives.
Story 1: Childhood Friend and New Arrival: The Second Male Lead Awakens
Xu Ran is a little wolf cub.
Growing up with a single mother in a cramped alley in a 1990s urban village, Xu Ran learned early on that he had to work hard and become strong if he wanted a future.
Xu Ran was destined to be a lone wolf.
At first, he protected his mother, but then she was gone.
Later, he protected Zhao Xin, but he had no choice but to push her away himself.
His experiences and feelings are real, yet fate is always pulling his strings.
The novel describes his past in such detail
only to turn him into someone who needs saving, a second male lead who grovels at the feet of a universally adored female lead.
Note: The first story is written in Zhihu style. The plot is melodramatic and has a happy ending. Please be warned if that's not your thing.
I'll add the rest of the stories when I think of them.
Theme: Those who live earnestly are all the protagonists of their own stories
The short story could be more concise and more tense [Rose]
