Drawn to the dazzling Bokuto on the court, Chiba Masayuki left Miyagi without hesitation and transferred to Fukurodani Academy.
He thought he would have to deal with grueling club activities and strict seniority rules.
But after arriving at Fukurodani, Masayuki's daily life went something like this:
With his owl-like senior:
“Masayuki, can you help me block? Please! A spike without a block is meaningless!”
Masayuki blinked in confusion. “But I'm a libero. Is that allowed?”
“Oh, right!” Bokuto said, suddenly enlightened. He pointed the ball at Masayuki, sounding perfectly casual. “Then you can handle receiving.”
With the team's beautiful setter:
“Masayuki, please stop teasing Bokuto-senpai. If he isn't in good form during a match, it'll be entirely your fault.”
With the other seniors:
“Masayuki, we're counting on you to handle Bokuto-senpai's moods on the court!”
“Masayuki, get over here! Bokuto-senpai's gone gloomy again!”
“Masayuki, you don't have to pay so much attention to Bokuto-senpai all the time!”
Whoa, is this what a Tokyo city boy is like?
So special!
I like it!
But grueling club activities were still unavoidable.
At a school that believes “it's important to do your best with the ball right in front of you,” you have to give it your all on every play.
“Masayuki, save it!”
“Left!”
Masayuki instantly appeared where the ball was about to land. His gray-blue eyes held nothing but focus as he brought his arms together and cleanly bumped the ball back up.
“Nice save!”
“That's incredible, Masayuki.”
I'm so lucky to be able to play volleyball at Fukurodani.
I wrote this blurb in a bit of a rush, so it's rather rough. I'll flesh it out more later.
Theme: The weather is fine, and everything is lovely.
