Upcoming xianxia novel: Black Moonlight, All Rebellion
Synopsis:
Little Scene 1:
After an argument, Pei Susu felt that she might have been a little unfair to Shao Wanchen. She spent most of the day making a little trinket and brought it to his tent.
At the time, Shao Wanchen was deep in thought. He was thinking that she might be a bit too blunt, but she was right about everything, and he had no grounds to argue with her. He could also use this chance to talk with her a little more...
Just then, Pei Susu lifted the tent flap and walked in. Shao Wanchen slowly raised his head, and his gaze softened only when he saw it was her.
She came to his desk, pulled a brush from her sleeve, and held it out to him. "Here. It's my apology for... being too blunt."
Shao Wanchen hesitated for half a second before taking the wooden brush. Looking somewhat dissatisfied, he said, "Other people apologize with armor, belts, hairpins, clothes, and things like that. Why are you giving me a wooden brush? Can this even be used?"
The answer was no.
"Do you want it or not? If you don't, give it back!" Pei Susu said, reaching to snatch it away. Shao Wanchen dodged backward. "I want it. I never said I didn't."
Pei Susu figured he still couldn't accept the gift, but she didn't dwell on it. She left after giving it to him.
Holding the very poorly carved brush, Shao Wanchen murmured, "Never mind. It's enough that she put some thought into it for me."
Little Scene 2:
Dressed in a man's official robes, Pei Susu went on a killing spree at the infamous Directorate of Supervision, finally avenging the blood feud she and the original owner had suffered. The blood of her enemies splattered all over her face and clothes.
She had actually taken so many lives all by herself. The shock of it was too much, and she couldn't come to terms with what she'd done.
Then something suddenly occurred to her. She searched everywhere for a water vat and desperately washed her face, scrubbing at her sleeves as if she could wash away her sins.
When she looked up, someone held a handkerchief out to her. He said softly, "Wipe yourself off."
This handkerchief... Wasn't it the one she'd lost earlier?
Pei Susu met his eyes in astonishment. Shao Wanchen looked worried. When she didn't take the handkerchief, he instinctively wiped the drops of water from her face for her.
But as soon as the handkerchief touched her face, she snatched it from his hand.
"Shouldn't you explain how my handkerchief ended up with you?"
Looking into those sharp, knife-like eyes, Shao Wanchen felt a little flustered.
"I found it. I just never got the chance to return it to you..."
Pei Susu didn't believe a word of it.
On every late night when he couldn't see Pei Susu, Shao Wanchen would gaze at something that reminded him of her.
A brave and resourceful heroine x a hero who broods in the shadows

1. Both leads are each other's one and only. Happy ending. Don't be put off by the short word count; this story doesn't end badly.
Theme: May there be no more wars in this world.
Thank you for your support, thank you, thank you [Namaste]
Hey, will Zhuyin still have a chance to meet the original owner in the future?
Oh, it's so miserable. If I were Takeyakure, I would collapse. .
I feel like Takeyakure knows something
The heroine is so brave to say that hahahaha
Woohoo, I was still grieving for the county magistrate in the last picture, but when the heroine said it, I felt even sadder... When I traveled back to ancient times, there was no time to grieve for men, and all the women came to suffer.
I almost thought he was the male protagonist hahahahaha
