Can a Cannon Fodder Be Someone's Wife? [Quick Transmigration]

Shen Jue was bound to a hated cannon-fodder System. The System told him his mission was to play a loathsome, malicious cannon fodder and mercilessly trample all the heaven-favored prodigies.

Shen Jue: "Trample... means I should step on him, right?"

[An arrogant, domineering heir apparent x a wolf cub who never lets a grudge go]

Shen Jue was a celebrated beauty in the capital, but he was also famous for his terrible temper and his habit of picking on the servants.

He bought an exotic boy, green-eyed and raised by wolves from infancy, and took him in as a servant. Day after day, he either kicked and punched him or made him kneel in the snow.

According to the script, the boy would hold a grudge and, once he became a powerful general in command of an army, arrest Shen Jue and confiscate his estate.

Shen Jue remembered that he was supposed to trample the boy, which meant stepping on him.

So he did.

The System let out a piercing shriek: "Who taught you to step on someone like that?!"

Shen Jue was pleased with himself. "He told me to step right here. He's so nice, even teaching me how to bully him!"

The boy knelt on one knee and bowed his head respectfully. A dark gleam flashed through his eyes, but all the turmoil in his expression was hidden where Shen Jue couldn't see it.

Later on.

Shen Jue really was arrested, his eyes red-rimmed. He was taken from his home all the way to the general's mansion, letting out muffled groans along the way.
