In the year 2505, the Black Gate descended.

"It" promised that anyone who cleared the movie instances and reached first place in the Black Gate's rankings of a hundred players could have any one wish granted.

One ordinary day, Xia Qinan finished washing up and was about to go out to buy food when she suddenly found she couldn't open the door.

The brown front door of her home had turned into a Black Gate.

And so she became one of the people traversing the Black Gate. The way to find the safe exit was to enter the story and become an actor in the movie, sharing its joys and sorrows with the original protagonist. Each person could draw one skill per movie.

In the first beginner instance, Red Beauty, she drew the skill Rewind.

The cheerful, sunny young man who brought her meals during the day turned out to be a creature that made eerie noises at night. Her male coworker, who was always eager to help, secretly tripped her up in front of their boss. Her childhood male friend, who had grown up with her, got dumped by his girlfriend, got drunk, and confessed his true feelings to her...

Just as she was wondering which one was the real him, an unexpected crisis struck. Robbers blocked their way, and the male characters flew into a rage for the sake of a beauty, each going on to reach the pinnacle of life.

Xia Qinan sighed and used the Rewind skill she'd drawn.

This time, she finally understood. There had only ever been one true "him," and it was herself.

In the second solo instance, Three's Company, she drew the ability "You Can't See Me."

It was hell from the start. The skill Xia Qinan drew was invisibility, which only worked when her emotions were calm. But from the start, she landed beside a husband who was fooling around with a ripped hunk and had completely lost track of the world around him.

Terrified, she hurried behind the curtains and tried to turn invisible. But then the husband sighed and punched the hunk. "Honey~ Say something~ You know I like you best~"

The hunk lovingly flicked the husband's nose. His magnetic voice came out in intermittent bursts, like a radio with a bad connection.

"Baby, I know your heart will always be with me."

Shocked, Xia Qinan's worldview shattered, and she almost failed to turn invisible.

She was determined to derail the movie, so when the instance task was to cheer up the husband, Xia Qinan chose to exploit a bug:

Beat him up, then use the item "Make-Up Bell" to make him forget his sadness.

Scold him, then use the "Make-Up Bell" again to make him forget his sadness once more.

After repeating this several times, Xia Qinan didn't even need to do anything. The husband squeezed out a smile himself. "Happy, happy. I've never felt this happy with my life."
