Zhaoli was the young mistress of the demon realm, a renowned figure throughout the Six Realms.
First, she was beautiful and bold, highly skilled, and had countless followers.
Second, she'd recently pulled off something major and been brought back to the Divine Mountain by the Divine Lord.
Never mind that gods and demons were estranged from each other. Mingze was famous throughout the Six Realms for having no interest in romance.
But Zhaoli noticed that she'd changed ever since arriving at the Divine Mountain.
For instance, the events of the day often felt hazy to her.
And then there was the fact that she'd come to Mingze to take his divine heart, so she'd gone to great lengths to seduce him.
Yet halfway through, Zhaoli let him go as if he'd become a burning-hot potato.
And the usually proper Divine Lord stared right at her with a look that said, "Go on, then..."
Looking at the phoenix-feather mark on her wrist, Zhaoli wondered if it was affecting her.

Zhaoli: "Come in and take your thing out of me."
Mingze: "You tell me to come in, and I just do?"
