Song Xingyu kept indulging her, so Sheng Yi came right out and told him she wanted them to get what they wanted from each other.

Later, when Song Xingyu saw Sheng Yi going in and out of a hotel with a man, he stormed into her room, dragged her out, and shoved her into his car. He gave in to her, but said, "On one condition: you can only be with me."

Sheng Yi knew Song Xingyu was against marriage and never expected him to fall in love with her.

She also knew he only took her problems to heart out of consideration for her father.

When her graduate school exams were over, Sheng Yi had no reason to see him again, so she ended things with him herself.

She never expected that, while on a graduation trip down south with her friends to clear her head, Song Xingyu would behave so out of character, asking other people about her and flying to her city overnight. Afraid he'd miss her, he waited in the hotel lobby from dusk until dawn.

3. Song Xingyu was famous in their circle for being old-fashioned and stubborn. He was practically synonymous with being against marriage.

Yet later, this very man would cling to Sheng Yi night after night, asking when she would give him the marriage he so desperately wanted.

Song Youning had never gotten along with her older brother's friend, Jiang Beinian.

One time, she had no choice but to ask her brother for help with an assignment. His computer happened to be broken, so he went next door to borrow Jiang Beinian's.

But halfway through explaining the assignment, her brother stepped out to answer a call.

Song Youning saw Jiang Beinian, fresh from his shower, wearing nothing but a towel around his waist.

He didn't realize the video call was on. He stepped into view and took clothes from the closet to get dressed.

Song Youning was stunned. It turned out that Jiang Beinian had more than just a refined, wickedly handsome face and a great body. He was very impressive in that department, too.

Just as she was watching with flushed eyes, Jiang Beinian noticed her. Song Youning denied to the death that she'd been watching him.

But that very night, she dreamed of Jiang Beinian, his broad shoulders and narrow waist, and the size that made her want to find out what he was like.

After several days of this, Song Youning realized she was craving him more and more.

So she threw caution to the wind, asked him out, and showed him the video she'd secretly recorded.

"Either sleep with me once, or I'll put this video of you online and ruin your reputation."

Later, Song Youning begged him through tears, "I really don't crave you anymore."

Jiang Beinian grabbed her ankle and pinned her beneath him again. "That won't do. I don't want my reputation ruined yet."
