[Haha, this is my first time writing a story, so please forgive the rough writing.]
Qi Zhan first met Gu Xuan during summer vacation. The sun blazed overhead, making the heat almost unbearable. Wearing a white T-shirt, the boy looked around Tongcheng with a lazy yet curious air.
The second time they met, the boy stood at the front of the classroom in a neat No. 1 High School uniform, introducing himself.
"My name is Gu Xuan. Gu as in 'take care of,' and Xuan as in 'laughter.'"
Then this "young master Gu" took the seat beside Qi Zhan.
"Hi, classmate."
"A pleasure to meet you. I'm Qi Zhan."
June 3, 2017, was a day Qi Zhan would never forget.
The day before his flight, Qi Zhan didn't tell Gu Xuan. He even cruelly blocked him.
June 11, 2021.
That evening, after dinner with his friends, Gu Xuan planned to head straight back to the dorm. As luck would have it, a heavy rain started outside, and he had no umbrella. Ling Yuzhuo came up with a terrible idea: run back in the rain and find out what "freedom" really felt like. For some reason, Gu Xuan actually did it.
By the time he reached campus, Gu Xuan was soaked to the skin. The rain grew heavier, and the wind picked up, bringing a chill with it. As he ran, the raindrops suddenly stopped falling on his head.
"We haven't seen each other in all these years, and you've gotten stupid."
"I'll be grateful for the rest of my life that I went crazy that night."
"You don't have to be grateful. Even if you hadn't done something so stupid, I would have found you."
"Because I found you a long time ago. I just didn't dare say so."
The story begins when one boy, dressed all in white, steps into another boy's world.
The middle of the story is four boys gathered around a stove, telling stories.
The story has no ending, so here's wishing them everlasting happiness and good health.
A cool, aloof, secretly passionate older guy x a lazy, chronically ill, surprisingly different younger guy. (The top has a sharp tongue, and the bottom is quite different from what you'd expect. Read at your own discretion.)
